Glass Etching With Cricut

I just got in the mail today the glass etching cream that I had ordered from scrappy go lucky. I couldn't wait to play with it so this was just a quick project that I did with it to see how it worked. I don't have any vinyl so I used some book contact instead to make a stencil with my Cricut. The cut is from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. So I cut the shape out of contact, stuck it on a glass, covered it in etching cream, left it for 10 mins, rinsed the cream off, removed the contact and it was all done! So easy! Let me know what you think.

My Project 365

At the start of the year when the Project 365 was such a big hit I decided it seemed easy enough and that I would give it a go. Well what a year it has been so far. It hasn't been easy taking a photo every day. I have missed quite a few days and still have some journalling to catch up on but at the end of the year I am going to be so glad I gave it a go. So much has happened this year that it will be nice to look through my album years down the track and remember all the good times of 2009. These are just some of the pages of my album so far. I used the free digital images that Becky Higgins supplied on her blog and did all the editing in Photoshop.
